Seating auditions for ALL PLAYERS in both ensembles (WSJYO and WSYO) will be held on Saturday, September 12 from12:30 onward at the CAPITOL THEATRE (121 University Ave. West Windsor, ON). Please click here to register and choose a time for your audition.
Musicians of all levels, ages 8–18, are encouraged to audition. Please prepare a piece of your choice; this could include an excerpt of a solo for your instrument, your part from an ensemble piece, or another work of music. Please prepare one scale in any octave or rhythmic pattern. Senior auditions will also include a sight reading component. It is recommended that your solo piece be no less than 2 minutes and no longer than 10 minutes. Please bring a printed copy of your solo music.
** The WSJYO and WSYO rehearses Sunday afternoons, from September through April.

Nicholas is the Assistant Principal Viola for the WSO, Lead Teacher of The String Project, and Owner/Teacher of SUNNYSIDE STRINGS. Nicholas has a long history in both performance, and educating young people in music in Windsor/Essex, and we are thrilled to have him lead our special groups of youth in the WSJYO and WSYO.
