Audition Information WSYOs

Seating auditions for STRING PLAYERS only in both ensembles (WSJYO and WSYO) will be held on Friday June 26 from 4-9pm at the Armouries Building, UWindsor School of Creative Arts (353 Freedom Way, Windsor). Please click here to register and choose a time for your audition.

Wind and Brass player audition day and time TBD

Musicians of all levels, ages 8–18, are encouraged to audition. Please prepare a piece of your choice; this could include an excerpt of a solo for your instrument, your part from an ensemble piece, or another work of music. Please prepare one scale in any octave or rhythmic pattern. Senior auditions will also include a sight reading component. It is recommended that your solo piece be no less than 2 minutes and no longer than 10 minutes. Please bring a printed copy of your solo music.

The WSJYO and WSYO rehearses Sunday afternoons, from September through April.
