Peer Gynt’s Journey
Henrik Ibsen’s epic eighteenth-century play, Peer Gynt, follows the exploits of its errant protagonist from Norway to the Moroccan desert. Combining forces for a short Sunday evening performance, the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, Windsor Symphony Youth Orchestra, and Windsor Symphony Community Orchestra will tell the tale through Grieg’s famous music. The brief concert also includes the Canadian orchestral premiere of Ouarzazate, a traditional song from North Africa.
