Butterfly Migration and the WSO

Windsor, ON – The Windsor Symphony Orchestra (WSO) performs music inspired by the migration of the Monarch butterfly from Point Pelee, Canada to Mexico.

The musical migration takes place on stage Saturday April 6th under the direction of WSO Assistant Conductor Francisco Hernández Bolaños, with co-host Jan Radford, the WSO and friends from Music Moves Kids, soloist Amelia Daigle as the Monarch Queen and more!

The WSO Family Concerts are a celebration of music, community, and creativity. It’s a place where families come together to make memories and nurture a love for music that will last a lifetime.

Flutter is a fantastic musical opera tale of the Monarch Butterfly. This production blends the wonders of scientific facts with captivating butterfly mythology. Filled with breathtaking music, and mesmerizing dance, this opera promises an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
