Enjoy a favourite WSO holiday tradition: Handel’s Messiah. Resident Conductor Geoffrey Larson leads a program of highlights from Handel’s grand celebration of the season. The Windsor Classic Chorale joins the WSO and will leave you singing “Hallelujah!”

Did You Know?
- Handel composed the entire Messiah oratorio in just 24 days in the summer of 1741.
- Handel himself famously said that he felt “the Spirit of God” helping him as he composed, particularly during the writing of the iconic Hallelujah Chorus.
- Messiah is closely associated with London, but it was first performed in Dublin, Ireland, in 1742.
This concert is 90 minutes. No intermission.
