Windsor, ON – This weekend the Windsor Symphony Orchestra performs three diverse works, each showcasing a different musical style, offering the audience a rich, varied experience.
Maestro Robert Franz says, “This concert is diverse, rhythmic and loads of fun. Beethoven’s 7th Symphony is one of the giants; its dance-like rhythms, driving energy and hauntingly slow movements have captivated audiences for over 200 years. Pipa player, Changlu Wu, will transport us to the Qilian mountains of China. Opening the concert is Canadian composer, Jared Miller; with his fast-paced showpiece, Ricochet-Reverb-Repeat. This concert has something for everyone!”

Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 is immediately recognizable if you’ve seen the movie, The King’s Speech.
