Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser

Windsor, ON – The Windsor Symphony Orchestra is elated to host Canadian Conductor Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser this weekend, as the WSO brings Mendelssohn’s Italian Symphony, inspired by the colours and atmosphere of Italy into the grey storms of Windsor!

This concert marks the Windsor debut of the extraordinary conductor, Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser. Bartholomew-Poyser has a unique gift for creating and conducting shows designed to introduce orchestral music to groups outside of its traditional audiences, blending classical with contemporary genres and themes targeted to groups who do not typically attend the symphony.

Through music, Daniel will take you on an evocative trip to Italy. Paired with two works by women composers: Canadian composer Barbara Pentland’s beautiful Symphony No. 2, and Errollyn Wallen’s intriguing Photography this concert is sure to inspire!
