Reggie Smith Jr. (bass) returns to sing the title role in Mendelssohn’s Elijah – a dramatic oratorio that captures the biblical prophet’s struggles and triumphs. This concert features the WSO ChorusWindsor Classic Chorale, the University of Windsor Singers, along with vocalists Amelia Daigle (soprano), Jael Hernandez (soprano), Erin Armstrong (alto), and Philp Klaassen (tenor).

 What’s something interesting about this concert? 

  • Mendelssohn was a child prodigy who composed his first symphony at the age of 15 and his first piano concerto at 14.
  • Reggie Smith Jr., performed at the Capitol Theatre in 2022, in the WSO’s Holiday Pops concert, singing repertoire from the “Grinch.”
