WSO Brings Broadway to the Stage!

Windsor, ON – The Windsor Symphony Orchestra performs Broadway Hits with rising Canadian soprano Charlotte Knight and shines the limelight on St. Clair College Music Theatre Students!

This weekend, Windsor Essex can experience 3 performances of Charlotte Knight Sings Broadway!

With music performed from Disney’s Frozen, and Beauty and the Beast, as well as Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific, and music from composer Stephen Sondheim, and so much more! Sponsored by The Toldo Foundation, these concerts will entertain all ages!

On Friday March 10th, the WSO returns to Uni-Fab, the steel fabricating plant turned concert hall in Leamington and then March 11th and 12th the WSO performs at home, at the historic Capitol Theatre!

“I’m thrilled to welcome back to our stage Charlotte Knight and the talented students from the St. Clair College Music Theatre Department. They’ll perform a combination of Broadway hits that our audiences will know like, “Meadowlark” and “The Cockeyed Optimist”, with a few unexpected surprises thrown in! This talented troupe of singers makes doing what I do so much fun!” Said Maestro Robert Franz.

Our guests will hear, “Bring on the Men” from the musical Jekyll and Hyde, and the “Little Things You Do Together” from Company… we’ve made sure we hit every taste in musical theatre!”

About Charlotte Knight

Charlotte Knight, Canadian musical theatre soprano singer/actor, has established herself as an emerging artist on both concert and opera stages. Having recently played the iconic role of Elsa in Frozen, The Musical with Disney Cruise Line, Charlotte is a versatile artist, equally gifted in modern, contemporary, and classical musical theatre. Charlotte returns to Windsor and joins the WSO along with the talented students from St. Clair College Music Theatre.
