Brilliant Tuba player returns to the WSO stage!

Windsor, ON – The Windsor Symphony Orchestra welcomes l’Essor High School graduate and Tecumseh born Jarrett McCourt back to the Capitol Theatre stage for its 5th and final Tepperman Masterworks of the season. McCourt performs tuba along with a performance of Brahms Symphony No. 2 – full of more beautiful melodies than almost any other 19th century symphony.

McCourt, a Windsor Symphony Youth Orchestra and Windsor Symphony Community Orchestra alumnus, has performed with some of the most prestigious orchestras in the world. He will perform the World Premiere of living Canadian composer Nicole Lizee’s daring and innovative new Tuba Concerto: 1000-Sided Die. Hailed as a “musical scientist”, McCourt will open your ears to what a tuba can do!
