WINDSOR, ON – The Windsor Symphony Orchestra’s Tepperman Masterworks series continues with an exciting world premiere.
Canadian composer Jordan Pal’s Upwellis inspired by the cycle of the oceans, where energy and life rise from the depths, bringing power and vitality to the surface. Orchestra meets electronica as the ancient music of India and Europe blends with the cutting-edge sounds of the electric tabla.
Pal’s world premiere with the WSO and soloist Shawn Mativesky is dedicated to the memory of Maestro Robert Franz.
Concert also features Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Symphony No. 8.
