This homage to nature will leave you spellbound. Vaughan William’s violin concerto, The Lark Ascending, features the WSO’s Principal Second Violinist Émilie Paré. Earthbeat, by multi-award-winning Canadian composer Vincent Ho, reflects Canada’s history and its Indigenous peoples in musical form. More than 25 student violinists will join the WSO around the theatre creating a surround sound experience. Robert Rival’s Symphony No. 2 “Water”, composed after a walk on Long Beach on the Pacific coast, captures both nature’s raw force and sense of serenity.

Curtain Call Conversations take place between the Maestro and guest artist on stage, directly after a concert. Patron participation is encouraged.

AWE and WSO present: WaterWorks
This community-generated project blends images of works in our collection with the composer’s own photos to create a video accompaniment to Robert Rival’s Symphony No. 2, Water performed by the Windsor Symphony Orchestra in their Earthbeat concert. Using both traditional methods like drawing, painting, and collage, along with AI driven digital tools, this unique collaboration is a first for AWE and WSO.
