How will the Digital Concert Series work?
This season, once you have purchased the series, we will send you a link to the concert viewing page, as well as a unique password to enter the page. This link and password is only valid for your purchase and email. Think of your link and password as your “ticket” to view the concerts.
Important: please enter a valid email when making your purchase.
What do I need to watch the Digital Concert Series?
All you need is an internet connection, a device with sound (computer, tablet, smartTV, mobile phone), and the most comfortable seat in your house!
How much does the Digital Concert Series cost?
This series costs $100 + HST. This gives you access to all 12 concerts. Only one purchase per household is needed.
When will the concerts be aired?
The concerts will be released every Saturday at 7:30pm from October 3 to December 19.
I am having touble buying a ticket on the website. What can I do?
Make sure you are using a valid browser window - our ticketing software likes Chome best, but will also work with Safari and Firefox. Our software also works best on a computer.
Make sure you are filling in all the required fields at the payment stage. We need your name, address, and email. Be sure to change the "contury" field to "Canada" so that you can enter in your postal code.
Your ticket order has been processed if you receive a confirmation numeber at the end of the transaction. If you do not get this, please give us a call and we will be glad to help you.
How good will the recording sound quality be?
The WSO is creating these concerts for you with the maximum production and sound quality! The sound quality you hear will be determined by the quality of your device. Investing in a pair of external speakers (approx. $50) for your computer, or using headphones with your mobile device or tablet will give you a better sound quality experience. But it is not mandatory that you make this investment.
Do I have to watch the concert on the release date?
No. You can watch each concert whenever you like. Concerts will be available to watch from the air date until December 31, 2020. You can also rewind, pause, and replay concerts.
What platform is the WSO using to stream concerts?
The Digital Concert Series will stream on Vimeo. The series is password protected, so you must subscribe to receive your password and access the concerts.
What device can I use to stream and watch the Digital Concert Series?
You can use your desktop computer, laptop, tablet, mobile phone, Smart TV or Apple TV.
The Vimeo app is also supported by Roku.
Can I watch the stream on my TV?
Yes! The easiest way to connect your computer to your TV is through an HDMI cable.

I am a WSO Subscriber. What will happen to my subscribed seats?
For subscribers with seat preferences, all seats will be held until it’s safe to come to the Capitol Theatre again in the future.
What do I do if I have already bought and renewed my 2020-2021 series subscription?
If you have already renewed your series subscription for the 20-21 season, you have options!
If you would like to use this value to support the WSO this year, the value can be used to:
- Purchase your own Digital Concert Series subscription
- Gift a subscription to family and friends, or
- Donate to the WSO for a charitable tax receipt
And any combination of thereof! The value can also be put on a gift card or refunded.
For example: if Ludwig van Beethoven bought a subscription in February valued at $350, he could purchase a subscription for himself ($100), a subscription for two friends ($200), and donate $50 for a charitable tax receipt.

What if I have a credit with the WSO from a cancelled concert in Spring 2020?
If you have any outstanding gift cards, ticket vouchers, or credits with the WSO, they can also be used to purchase Digital Concert Series subscriptions for yourself or a friend.

On a very basic level, all you need to do is click the “watch now” button in your email (after you make a purchase), type in your password, and turn up your computer volume. If you need assistance, we can walk you though every step of the way!
