Directions

The Mary Webb Centre is located at 87 Main Street West, Highgate, Ontario, just 3 km south of Hwy 401.

Directions from London:
Take Hwy 401 west to exit 117, Orford Road, south (left), 3 km round a "S" bend which becomes King Street. Turn right at the Bank of Montreal. The heritage Highgate United Church, now the Mary Webb Centre, is the third building on the right.

From Windsor or Chatham:
Take Hwy 401 east and exit 109, Victoria Road.  Go right (south) about 3 km. Turn left at Gosnell Line, go 7 km. If you missed the turn onto Gosnell Line and hit the Tim Horton's, you have gone 1 km too far, unless Timmy's was your intended first stop.(Or you can stay on the 401 and take exit 117 as above.)

WARNING NOTE from the Mary Webb Centre: Highgate is a 150-year-old village that is now part of the amalgamated Municipality of Chatham-Kent. There are many villages with Main Streets in Chatham-Kent, so beware.  Most GPS maps, including MapQuest, will take you to the same, but wrong, address in Ridgetown.  We are 10km east of Ridgetown, off of Victoria Road, on Gosnell LIne which becomes Main Street in Highgate. Warning: all of the musicians coming here for the first time ended up in Ridgetown before they found us. But they did come with hot coffees.
