TD CANADA TRUST PARNTERS WITH WINDSOR SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA'S SATURDAY POPS SERIES FOR NEW SPONSORSHIP

WINDSOR, OCTOBER 4, 2007 – The Windsor Symphony Orchestra (WSO) today announced a new three-year sponsorship with TD Canada Trust for the title sponsorship of the TD Canada Trust Pops Celebration Series. The agreement begins with the 2007-08 season and kicked off with last week’s opening concert of the WSO’s 60th Anniversary Season, featuring acclaimed Canadian tenor Michael Burgess.

Partnering with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra is an opportunity to give back to the community where we live and work, and we feel supporting the arts is one of the areas where we can truly make a difference,” says Jim Copeland, District Vice President, TD Canada Trust for Windsor & Essex. .  “The TD Canada Trust Pops Celebration Series will have a positive impact on Windsor tourism and contribute to an environment that welcomes all members of our diverse communities.”

The next performance of the TD Canada Trust Pops Celebration Series is Saturday, December 1st at 8:00 p.m. at the Chrysler Theatre.  It is the annual Christmas Magic program of holiday favorites, featuring popular Canadian vocalist Denzal Sinclaire.
