Community Outreach
Bringing high quality live music to people of this region is the mission of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra’s Community Outreach Program. Designed to bring the musicians and the music to you, our professional musicians have performed over 60 concerts through our various outreach programs. These concerts feature selections of music that might be heard at WSO Classics, Pops, Mozart, and Bach concerts with an emphasis on familiar melodies and popular favourites.
A Great-West Life Community Concert is perfect if you are interested in planning a social event for your organization, need to raise funds for a special cause, would like to reach out to people in the community or raise awareness about your presence in the community.
Small Ensemble Concerts offer businesses and organizations a unique opportunity to arrange a concert as a special entertainment for employees, members or customers. String or woodwind ensembles perform a 45-minute program.
Gift of Music Concerts bring music to enrich the quality of life for those who are unable to attend the concert hall. These concerts are offered to social service agencies, nursing/retirement homes and non-profit organizations. A small ensemble performs a 40-minute program in a concert setting. Care to send a loved one a Gift of Music concert at their nursing/retirement facility?
